I should start this blog by saying I love dog people, but I love babies even more. Alison and Brandyn happened to have a dog and a baby, which makes my work like playtime. Their wedding at the Hilton in downtown Milwaukee was one for the books (or the blog). I also hold a special place in my heart for service men, and Brandyn and a number of his groomsmen are in the Air Force and do far greater things than I do. I think I can say for myself, and everyone reading this, thank you.
It was also my first time stepping inside the Hilton Milwaukee, and I was awestruck. The reception hall was gorgeous and their iconic staircase was an honor to shoot in. These two were already married, but decided to do all the formal stuff a year later. And to say the day went perfect would be a lie. Their bus didn’t show up, so we were almost 2 hours late doing formal photos. That’s something that I think needs to be said over and over. Anything can go wrong on your wedding day. You have the power to either let it ruin everything for you, or to brush it off and celebrate your love. I’ve been blessed with the best brides, including Allison who kept the most beautiful smile all night.
